Mark Dunne is a native of Carrick on Shannon, Ireland.  In 2001 he graduated from St. Mary's Seminary in Houston and has served in several parishes in the Diocese of Tyler.  Fr. Mark currently is the pastor of St. Francis of Assisi in Gilmer and St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus in Gladewater.  

"Deacon Guy", as he is affectionately known, has been a deacon since 02 June 1979 and a was a convert to the Catholic faith.  He is currently the oldest serving deacon in the Diocese of Tyler.
